The Santani Spa is another feature of the resort. This tri-level spa offers you many treatments according to your needs. This has the first ever hydrotherapy facilities in the country as well. The ground level has the reception desk and consultation rooms. Through these, you can descend to the hydrotherapy level. You will get an experience as if you are walking to the core of the earth. The second level includes a steam room, cedar wood sauna and open-air thermal salt pool. The deepest and last level includes four treatment rooms. There are 20 chalets inside the resort. 16 of them are mountain chalets while 4 are garden chalets. These are built around the concept of an “ambalama”. It is the Sri Lankan word for a place to stay and rest. Back in the day each city, village consisted of one for the ease of passengers.
