Rikas Hussain

Rikas Hussain leads visa and travel documentation at Arabiers Holidays, covering the three areas most travellers find hardest to navigate alone: Sri Lanka tourist and consulate visas, Dubai and wider UAE visit visas, and global visas for destinations across Europe, the UK and beyond. With his team of travel consultants he assesses eligibility, prepares and reviews each file against the exact requirements of the relevant consulate, books appointments, and stays with clients through approvals, delays and re-applications.

Much of how he works was shaped before Arabiers. As a Student Counsellor and Visa Consultant he guided students and families through the full visa journey, from first enquiry to final decision; as a tour coordinator he learned how documentation, timing and travel planning have to fit together for a trip to run cleanly. Today he works closely with UAE-based travellers planning Sri Lanka holidays, and with travellers across the GCC and Sri Lanka arranging visas for the UAE, Europe and the UK. He writes the visa guidance on these pages from current, hands-on casework — the requirements that change, the documents consulates actually ask for, and the small steps that decide whether an application is approved first time.
